Andy received his BFA in painting in 1982 from the Columbus College of Art and Design, Columbus, Ohio. After working years as an illustrator and graphic designer as well as running his design firm Dearwater Design, he started painting again, for himself. His subjects range from figurative to landscapes to still life completed in the studio and on location. Most recently he has continued working on the Folded Paper abstract series, as well as a series of Far West Texas landscapes.
